AN IMPORTANT COMMUNICATION FOR SGS MEMBERS

SGS to implement a new Members game booking system from 2024 !!.

In late 2023, the Sucina Golf Society plan to implement a new on-line game booking and

game maintenance system for its members. This new booking system will be released to all SGS

members in November 2023 and will facilitate individual future bookings onto any SGS game

scheduled to be played from January 2024 onwards. This new booking system for SGS members,

will utilise the web-based MasterScoreboard product which will directly integrate all future SGS

game bookings directly into the currently used Handicap Master golf administration software.

Bookings through the current process on the SGS website will continue for the remainder 2023

games after which it will be discontinued.

For SGS Members...this new on-line process greatly enhances functionality for SGS

members with on-line visibility, control and maintenance of their own SGS Monthly game

bookings and any subsequent updating activity. It contains the facilities for individual

members to book themselves on-line onto any opened future SGS games, the direct and

immediate cancellation of any of their own SGS game bookings, viewing of all players

currently booked for any SGS game, and visibility of any currently live startsheets. There

are also facilities for adding themselves to a reserve list for any SGS game that may be

indicated currently as being full.

Also available will be a personal ‘Mygolf’ view, which gives the player the full on-line

visibility of all their SGS future game bookings and reserve list bookings. It also provides

additional visibility of any active startsheets in operation. Players will also be able to view

their own historical playing records, their own handicap and handicap calculations and other

historical statistical analysis of their previous SGS games played.

For SGS Golf Administration...this fully integrated process will provide the SGS games

administration with much greater real-time visibility, control and an improved maintenance

and planning capabilities for SGS game bookings. It will give full real-time details of the

ongoing player bookings on all of the future opened SGS games and any reserve lists that

are in operation for any those games...all visible within the one integrated software system.

This will allow earlier highlighting of booking numbers with the potential for much early

planning discussions with the courses on additional teetimes. The SGS administration and

maintenance of these bookings and the subsequent startsheet creation will be greatly

enhanced and improved by the use of this new functionality.

• Access to this new booking system will be restricted to registered SGS members and will

be password protected. Upon live implementation, each current SGS member will be

notified of their own password to utilise this new booking system.

• A new separate on-line administration process for handling game booking requests from

the occasional non-members (Visitors/Guests) will also be introduced for 2024.

Regular updates will be communicated to SGS members as the implementation project

moves forward.
